Week Number One is complete at YMCA Camp Wa Wa Segowea!

It's finally here!  After a long year, kids are at camp and the usual sights and sounds of Wa Wa are back!  The bullfrogs are loud, the woodpeckers are knocking and there's the sound of children experiencing a great time!

The summer of 2012 has begun with Session # 1.   It was a small session, but filled with activities, skill classes and a lot of fun!  From the Opening Night Campfire to the closing Chapel, it was a busy first week.   Pillow polo started off the week inside (due to a little rainstorm), heading into "The Hats of Victory"and the first GaGa Ball (now known as WaWa Ball) Tournament.   There was a hike to nearby Umpachene Falls, the Overnight and of course skill classes including Archery, Swimming, Paddleboarding, Arts & Crafts and Fishing.

Session # 2 is already in it's 3rd day and next week we'll have a wrap-up of this week.  But before then, here's this weeks pictures!

The Main Lodge is ready for kids!
